Silvia Ostine Hutchings (1961)

Ms. Ostine Hutchings earned her RN from St. John’s Hospital School of Nursing and went on to complete her training as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Montefiore Hospital School of Anesthesia. She holds a B.S. in Health Sciences from the University of St. Francis and a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia (MSNA) from the Gooding Institute of Nurse Anesthesia. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Ms. Hutchings began her professional career as a Surgical Nurse in the operating room and later worked as a Staff Anesthetist at a Trauma Center. She also founded and served as the CEO of Dream’n Sweet Dreams, Inc. Anesthesia Services.

Ms. Hutchings has been an active member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), where she was honored with the AANA 1971 Award of Excellence, and she is also a member of the Georgia Association of Nurse Anesthetists (GANA).
