Rita Gregory (1973)

Rita is an actress/director, freelance artist in film, television, radio, print, and theater from 1987 to present. The Indiana University of Pennsylvania college graduate has been a member of the performing arts community for more than 40 years. 

As a stage director, her most recent production was THE SUNDAY GOD GAVE ME, by Kim El at the New Hazlett Theater in Pittsburgh.  She has directed over 20 productions, including her 10 years as Musical Theater Director for the Falk School. As a performer she last appeared in the New Horizon Theater productions of FRONT PORCH SOCIETY and THE OLD SETTLER. She has also had the pleasure of performing in FENCES, by the late great August Wilson here in Pittsburgh, and again at the Short North Stage Theater in Columbus, Ohio.  

She has appeared in numerous tv commercials, most notably Aspen Dental, Giant Eagle Markets, the Pennsylvania lottery, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and PA tourism.  Television and film credits include, MINDHUNTER, REHABILITATION OF THE HILL, ABDUCTION, SONNY DAYS, MY BLOODY VALENTINE, THOSE WHO KILL, THREE RIVERS and CLEVELAND ABDUCTION – THE MICHELLE KNIGHT STORY. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).
